Purpose for Creating a Catch Trip
Core objectives of pre-departure registration
Traceability
Generates a permanent tracking ID linking catch reports, effort logs, and landings.
Regulatory Compliance
Logs intent to fish, departure time, target species, and verifies active permits.
Data Baseline
Records port of departure, captain/crew manifest, gear types, and initial supplies.
Safety Preparedness
Provides authorities with accurate crew manifests and location plans before departure.
From registration to the kiosk and reports
KaChakDhin is a fisherfolk and boat owner. Maestro is the municipal staff who registers them. Dr. Jean is the municipal head who checks the data and reads the reports.
Register the fisherfolk
KaChakDhin visits the municipal office. Maestro opens Registration → Fisherfolk Registration, clicks New Entry, fills in the profile, then moves through the other sections with Save and next.
Register the vessel
Under Vessel Registration, Maestro picks KaChakDhin as owner and enters the vessel and engine details. The MFVR number is generated and the registration forms can be printed.
Issue the fishing license
Under Licenses → Fishing License, Maestro creates the license, then adds the boat and gear on its own pages and prints it.
Check for gaps
Dr. Jean reviews Missing Data Entry on the dashboard, so unfinished profiles and licenses without a vessel or gear are fixed early.
Create the vessel owner login
In Vessel Owner Accounts, Maestro finds KaChakDhin and clicks Create login. KaChakDhin gets a one-time activation code and chooses a PIN.
Schedule and depart
KaChakDhin signs in, chooses their own PIN, taps + New Trip, adds the site and crew, and saves. At departure they tap Mark as Departed and print the trip QR.
Process the return at the kiosk
The boat lands. The operator scans the trip QR, confirms the return time and landing site, chooses With Catch or Zero Catch, and adds each catch with gear, species, kilograms and price.
Complete and record
Confirming at the kiosk completes and locks the trip, and creates its Capture Fishing record. The Activity Log keeps who changed what.
Read the reports
Dr. Jean opens Reports → Management Reports or the Capture Fishing Report, sets the period, and exports to Excel or PDF. KaChakDhin's catch is now in the figures.

How do I access my dedicated panel?
Click Sign In or Access Portal and log in. Based on your user role or BoatR number, the system will automatically direct you to your assigned panel (Kiosk, Catch Trip, or Admin).
